‘The Heavy Shadows of the Crow’ to vie at Mesa filmfest

Iranian short film ‘The Heavy Shadows of the Crow’ has made its way to the Mesa International Film Festival in the US.

The flick, made by Behnam Asadollahi, will represent Iran at the third edition of the event.

The short film shows five men who grow out of soil in a flat desert. The men are led by a crow while some unexpected incidents happen.

A tagline for the film reads, “And the Humans grow out of the soil”.

The Mesa Film Festival aims to create a one-of-a-kind experience for filmmakers by giving them a platform to learn about the industry, watch great independent films, network and make lifelong memories and friends.

The Mesa International Film Festival will kick off today and will run until December 5, 2021.
